Default DSiXL

Anyone hear about this?

This promises to be a larger DSi, which will have longer battery life. Could this be the Tegra-powered DS console or will it be the next one?

Hmm. Never heard about it. Only heard rumors about WiiHD.

I haven't heard about it but I probably won't bother with it. I play with my DS a little everyday and it lasts for months. The battery life is pretty great.

Yeah, doesn't seem to interest me, and it doesn't look like it's the Tegra-powered DS. That's going to be nice, promissing Wii-Quality graphics on a handheld.

Yeah, it won't be something I'll be buying though; It just seems too big and clunky to me.

Ah, now the DS for the coveted big hands, bad eyes, and giant pockets audience debuts. But knowing it's Nintendo, it'll still print money anyway.

Having bought a DSi rather recently, I'm not really interested in upgrading unless it's a significant upgrade--and the XL doesn't seem all that significant. The DSi added DLC, overhauled the interface, and so on. (Small things, but worthy of some attention). The XL is just, you know, bigger.

there are so many DS and Gameboy revisions I'm gonna wait when they do the next system and not buy it for like 2 years so I can get like the 4th upgrade.... seriously I'm still rocking the original DS and it blows

I actually got a DSi recently myself and while I envy the new and improved battery life (because the dsi's kinda sucks with full brightness) I have a hard time seeing the point of Dsi XL...I mean they throw the concept of portability out the window for me because it is so much bigger so I probably couldn't slip in in my pocket without it bulging out, and they increased the screen size but not the resolution so I have a feeling that games like KH 358 /2 days will be a major eyesore on it. (although I think games like good looking sprites like Big Bang Mini and Mario and Luigi: Bowser's inside story will be just fine).

Ehh... I don't know, the DSi did not do too well.
