I got the lastest one for Christmas and now that I have wireless in my house I can download extra puzzles. Haven't tried that yet. Anyone have this experience? Seems easy enough. This game unlocks codes from the first Professor Layton game and the next one to this game.
Puzzles are pretty tricky too. I got stumped on several of them. That is what this game is all about, puzzles and solving a mystery. No action, just searching through a town looking for clues. This is my kind of game. |

I've only downloaded puzzles on my copy of Curious Village (I don't have Diabolical Box). Its simple enough, I just went to the bonus section and downloaded the weekly puzzles and it brings your puzzle index up to date. I'm guessing the feature would be similar on the newest game.
The game is very charming, and reminds me of some of the older adventure point and click games. I just read than a Professor Layton animated movie was just released in Japan and it appears to have the same charm and style as the games. I've played both games, the Curious Village and Diabolical Box, both have very surprisingly good puzzles and great story. It's a ton more fun with having the hints unlocked regardless of hint coins though, but that requires cheating.
