Hey Guys,
I was hoping if you guys could help me out. Currently as a sort of side project when I'm not doing school I'v been working on this website of mine. On it I would be selling software where you would download it directly once you bough it. But I'm thinking a lot of my a lot of my customers will be in rural areas (with dial up) so I also have the option of buying it in CD form or USB form. and I was thinking since the software only takes up about 50 MB max that I would just fill the rest of the space up with good freeware. So far I've got:
Thats all I've been able to think of, so if you've got anymore to add to the list, let me know! Thanks |

IMGBurn Picasa I'm sure there's a ton more but I can't really think of any others that you haven't mentioned yet. Just tiny things I use all the time but are just over looked as if they were part of my OS.

Thanks Rhu, I've had 7zip on my computer for so long I've forgotten it isn't a pre installed program.
I think I'm also going to use all of the PortableApps Software to, if anyone hasn't ever checked out portableapps before it's pretty handy, it's sort of like having a mini computer on your USB drive, everything is pre installed so you don't have to install any files and you never have to use crapy IE ever again when using another persons computer. |

I use a free antivirus called Avast, and a free firewall called Zone Alarm. Even though they are free I have had better luck with those than the expensive ones. I also like VLC Media Player, The UI isn't as visually pleasing as other media player programs, but it plays every file type I have ever come across.
CCleaner (formerly Crap Cleaner) is a nice free utility to get rid of temporary files and streamline your registry to keep your computer running well. |
