Has anyone played MAG yet? - Page 2

It looks like an interesting title, but I am just not sure about it. Like most of the people here, I would like to hear some trusted opinions on this one before picking it up. I'm currently in shopping mode, as my wife and I may finally be getting a PS3 in the next week or so!

If you have a good group of friends, or find a good clan with mics, this game is great fun.

It doesn't really have much of a tutorial (it has one for basic controls) and you have to figure things out for yourself. One problem is that a lot of people that are trying out Squad Leader for the first time do not know hw to do everything. It's easy to figure out over time though.

When you first drop into a game though, it can be overwhelming. The maps are huge, you're unsure what your doing, and you got a HUD with tons of stuff with people telling you things. Once you get your head straight though, it's fun...especially when you get a tough opponent.
