Yea, was kind of wondering if he had abandoned the site or not. I've been slowly dropping in my activity myself since it seems that way, sadly.

Yeah he had the right premise for a really cool site but you kinda got to wonder if he just lost interest in it. I really bet he could have worked to try to pull in some sponsors.

One idea I have been thinking about is letting members profit from SpazGamz affiliate system. Basically I would let members have the affiliate codes to Gamestop, Amazon etc.

Ex. When a member see's a deal at Amazon.com, they could put the spaz-20 into the URL so Amazon would know it's from us. Then if someone from our site buy's whatever it is from Amazon the poster will get the commission from it.

I can see already see some problems this system might have, the first being I'm not sure if the affiliate terms of agreement will even allow it, the second being that I think the system would be easily abused, i.e multiple members post the same deals, members make posts that aren't actually deals etc. The deals section of the forum would have to be heavily monitored, but I think this could also be fixed by making a post limit requirement of 100, before members could start threads in the deals section, something like that.

Also I really need to get the contest page back up and running, I'm hoping I will be able to find a sponsor.

That's about it, I can't thank you guys enough for actually staying on the site, I know I've been a bit of a dbag (pardon the language).

Let me know if you have any ideas or thoughts for the future of SpazGamz, also let me know what you think about the affiliate system idea.
