My problem is, I just didn't really enjoy SMG...I enjoy the old school 2D Marios a lot more, and enjoyed NSMBWii more because of that.
With regards to 3d Marios, I think it's peak was 64. I liked the variety of worlds, but none of them felt broken up into small segments like galaxy did. All the worlds in 64 seemed large and expansive, galaxy didn't feel like that to me...except for a few levels.

Ya, I enjoy the old school Mario more as well but I still thought Galaxies was fun. Mario 64 was pretty awesome too though. I can't really say which I like more, original Mario or 64 version, they are my favorites of them all.
